We’re proud to have delivered a new piece of work for the hip barbershop ‘Henri‘ in Copenhagen, having reupholstered all of their old-style barbers chairs for their new salon on trendy Elmegade in Nørrebro. We’ve done this before for their other branch, see this post for before/after photos.

With christmas approaching, it’s the time of year for makers’ markets and christmas fairs, and this November we’ll be making an appearance at FindersKeepers in both Aarhus and Copenhagen.
FindersKeepers is a design market that takes place a few times a year in Copenhagen and Aarhus and more recently in Odense too. It is a marketplace for upcoming and innovative designers who might not have a shop of their own, to show and sell their products. There are a range of designers, from the brand new, to the more established, selling a range of clothes, jewellery and homewares.
On 21 and 22 November, we’ll be at FindersKeepers Aarhus, which will take place at Godsbanen, and the following weekend, on 27, 28 and 29 November, we’ll be at FindersKeepers Copenhagen, which will be at TAP1.

Gift ideas
We hand make each of our products individually, and are therefore able to create special, one-of-a-kind products for you on request. What could be more perfect than a bespoke, made-to-order gift? If you’re looking for a gift for a family member, friend or even a work colleague, and you’ve got something specific in mind, or you just want to chat to us to seek inspiration about products we could create, get in touch! We can make a wide variety of products from homewares, clothing, baby and children items, if you don’t see it, just ask.
Workshops promoting the re-use of sheepskin and leather products
We’re passionate about using sustainable materials which do not damage the environment – this is achieved both by using materials whose creation is not damaging itself, and also by using materials that are durable and last a lifetime and therefore do not need to be replaced. Leather and sheepskin are brilliant materials for achieving both of these goals, but we think that it is very important, when using animal based materials, to be conscious of where these materials come from and to have respect for them.
Therefore, we promote the re-use of these materials – of course you can donate old sheepskin and leather items if you no longer want them, but we want to encourage people to ‘upcycle’ and tailor these items to become items that they do want to use. We’re holding a series of workshops in Denmark to teach people to re-use their leather and sheepskin products, teaching them how to make alterations and recycle the materials effectively.

Museum commissions
We were recently commissioned to produce four helmets for the Moesgård Ny Museum in Aarhus, Denmark, as part of a new installation which opened in October 2014. It is always a really great experience to create bespoke, one-off products such as these. Get in touch if you have particular requests for bespoke or tailored products.
